PTW has launched a new software system for referees and game assignments.
Are you a referee who is interested in signing up to work league games or tournaments? Follow these instructions.
Have you previously worked games for any PTW event? If yes, email kimpark@playthewhistle.com for a user name and password. If NO go to the second set of instructions below for new referees...
Once you have received your User Name and Password from PTW, follow these steps…
- Go to www.GameOfficials.net
- Log In, and follow the screen prompts.
- Update ALL of your personal information on the MyInfo tab
- View the Cell/Pager/Email Notices - check your preference for game notification, this is where you can set up to receive text messages alerts in addition to the standard emails.
- Note: most officials prefer to receive notices by batch, instead of one per game. Opting for batch will reduce the number of notices you will receive.
- After completing your information update - start updating your availability. Referees are assumed to be "unavailable" until you post your availability. You can post availability for ANY day of the year NOW, and maintain it when you have changes.
Newly certified referee or new to working games for PTW?
- New referees click here to request the PTW Group Number and Access Code to set up your account.
- After you receive the group number and access code from PTW, go to www.GameOfficials.net
- Click the New Official? tab on the left menu
- Enter the group number and code provided by PTW to log in and create your account.
- You are off and running - click My Availability and post when you can work.
Exciting new features just to name a few:
- Multiple email accounts for notification of game assignments
- Opt for a text message directly to your phone
- Message sent when a game is posted
- Message is sent when any change to the game is made
- Adjust your availability to time of day, not just the entire day
- Google Maps to field locations
- Current weather conditions at the field complex
