This fun and energetic program is suitable for the young player interested in seeing what soccer at Real is all about. The program is designed to develop the motor and ball skills of each player through soccer-related activities, drills, and games. The “Cubbies” program meets once a week for 45 minutes 6 times in the Fall Season and 6 times in the Spring Season. Our Cubbies Coaches share their enthusiasm and love of the game with these young players making this first soccer experience the best possible. 

 

This program is designed to offer young players the opportunity to discover the health benefits of an active lifestyle while learning a fun and exciting sport. This age will have one practice per week and 7-8 games each season. The games are played 4v4 on small fields with small goals and no goalkeepers. The focus is on developing their comfort with the ball, encouraging them to take chances on the field, and learning the dynamics of a team sport.

 

Encouraging our youth to embrace an active lifestyle while having fun and learning a team sport is our focus as we add goalies to the team and play 6v6 on larger fields with larger goals. This age will have 1 practice per week and 7-8 games each season (spring and fall). U8 teams can request an additional 1 practice per week and we will accommodate those teams on a field/space available basis. 

 

Our Juniors Program provides 4 Advanced Training Sessions with a Skills Coach to compliment the training program provided by their coach.   The entire team must agree to participate in the Juniors Program. Teams will practice 2 times per week and will have 7-8 games per season.

The Real Academy is available to players on an individual, rather than team, basis. The focus of this program is the player’s comfort with the ball, technical skills training, and advanced technical training. All Academy sessions will be held outside regular practices and at a pre-determined location on Monday nights. There will be 4 sessions each season coached by the top coaches in our club including the Real Developmental Staff. 

This program offers a fun way to learn a team sport and gain the health benefits of an active lifestyle. The aim of this program is to provide a soccer experience that meets the needs of the majority of young players in Douglas County and the surrounding areas. At this age we play 8v8 on a larger field with 2 practices per week and 7-8 games per season.

 

This exciting option for our aspiring young talents will bring our players in contact with some of the best coaches and Advanced Trainers at Real Colorado. In addition to their regular practices with their volunteer coach, the Juniors Program offers 4 advanced Training Sessions with a Skills Coach to challenge the player with advanced training ideas and concepts. Players will have 2 practices per week and 7-8 games per season.

 

The final part of the Developmental Program is our Real Seniors Program. It is strongly encouraged that players participate in the Real Juniors Program before entering the Real Seniors Program. In addition to their regular practices with their volunteer coach, the Seniors Program offers:

 

·        5 Advanced Training Sessions with a Skills Coach

·        One Pre-Season Training Day

·        One Pre-Season Friendly Tournament. 

·        The Academy Program

·        2 practices per week

 

Advanced Training Sessions will be coached by some of the best coaches in the state. 

The final part of the Developmental Program is our Real Seniors Program. It is strongly encouraged that players participate in the Real Juniors Program before entering the Real Seniors Program. In addition to their regular practices with their volunteer coach, the Seniors Program offers:

 

·        5 Advanced Training Sessions with a Skills Coach

·        One Pre-Season Training Day

·        One Pre-Season Friendly Tournament. 

·        The Academy Program

·        2-3 practices per week

 

Advanced Training Sessions will be coached by some of the best coaches in the state. The Seniors Program is designed to help prepare our under 10 players for Real Colorado Competitive Program at Under 11.

 

The Real Academy is available to players on an individual, rather than team, basis to our Recreational and Junior Players. The focus of this program is the player’s comfort with the ball and technical skills training. There will be 4 sessions each season coached by the top coaches at Real Colorado, including the Real Developmental and Competitive Staff. The Academy Program is included in our Seniors Program, please don’t register for it separately.

 

This is a continuation of our recreational soccer division and allows for those players that wish to continue playing soccer and having fun. Players will have 2 practices per week, and play 7-8 games per season in the Southwest Metro Denver area.

This program is a recreational division that allows players and teams to compete with other non-competitive teams from around the Denver-Metro Area. Players practice 2 times per week and play 9-10 games.
