Real is thrilled to announce the opening of the Real Colorado Youth Training School. The focus of the YTS is to offer Under 9 and Under 10 boys and girls the highest level of technical skill-based instruction, not possible on a consistent basis within a recreational team setting. The Real Colorado Professional Staff will identify players through the Developmental Centers process as being prepared for the opportunities and challenges that the YTS will provide. While playing with a recreational team has many, many positives, the YTS will fill in any gaps.

In short, being part of the YTS will not preclude a player from participation on their current recreational team, but will give them the individual technical training necessary to excel and create even more opportunities as they learn and grow.

YTS Program Bullets

• The YTS begins at Under 9 with players being selected by invitation only. There will be a limited number of new openings for each school.
• The YTS is based on a two year curriculum. U9 players accepting a position should consider this a two year process and commitment which comes to a close at Real Colorado’s Under 11 Competitive Tryouts.
• Participants will be identified through participation at the Developmental Centers offered throughout the year. (Please check out Developmental Centers online for more information.)
• Participating players will have one training a week with a minimum of six per YTS. In addition there will be a minimum of one event. This event could involve matches against Real competitive teams, small-sided tournaments, scrimmages and/or friendlies against other top clubs in Colorado.
• Estimated Cost: $145 per YTS.  There will be an additional training kit cost for $35.  The kit will be available at Soccer Stop beginning Feb 5th.  The training kit includes a Nike Reversible Dry-Fit Training Jersey, as well as a pair of Nike Shorts and Nike Socks. Players will be required to wear this training kit at all YTS sessions and events. The kits will be used for a minimum of one year.
