For more information on the DC go to www.realcolorado.net and click on DC and YTS.

In addition, players who possess the necessary ability will be formally invited by email to join the YTS program for Fall 2011. The first official YTS session will begin Sunday, September 18th and will run through Sunday, November 13th. The girls will train from 2:30-3:45pm and the boys from 4:00-5:15pm each Sunday at Heritage Park on the Synthetic field. (Dates and times are subject to change.)

Real Colorado partners with “isoccer”:

Isoccer is a web-based program that allows Real Staff, Team Coaches, Parents and Players to measure, track and improve skill through a number of easy-to-perform exercises.

For more details regarding isoccer go to www.isoccer.org

U.S. Soccer Curriculum:

The YTS program will follow the new curriculum set forth by U.S. Soccer. The training sessions will involve 1v1 and 2v1 attacking and defending situations as this is important to develop individual skill as well as the passing technique to develop the necessary team game.

For more information about the U.S. Curriculum go to www.ussoccer.com

Real Competitive Soccer:

Lastly, the YTS program is designed to prepare our U9 and U10 Boys and Girls for U11 Competitive Soccer here at Real Colorado. This will be accomplished by the following:

  • Move from a basic to efficient level of skill in 1v1 situations
  • Understand balance in relation to the ball (forward, backwards, and side to side)
  • Enhance basic coordination with and without the ball
  • Apply basic attacking principles
  • Further coordinated movements at speed

Having fun at the Rapids game!
From left to right; Hayley Hughes, Meghan Long, Meghan Thomas, Lauren Heap, and Allie Stone were all members of the U19 Real Colorado National team that made it all the way to the National Championships. Just as exciting is the fact they all began their competitive careers at Real Colorado at U11.
Lexy Hill and Mallory Pugh are seen here at National Camp in August. Both were invited back to another camp the week of Sept 19th. Great job girls.
