Real Colorado 2012 Girls Red Team Represents Colorado at National Presidents Cup

The Real Colorado 2012 Girls Red team proudly represented Colorado at the 2025 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, held this month in Tampa, Florida. The tournament is a national-level competition for teams in the 13U–19U age groups and is recognized for providing high-level play and meaningful development opportunities for competitive youth athletes.

The 2012G Red team advanced to the national semifinals, where they were narrowly defeated in a penalty shootout by the eventual national champions. Their impressive run marked the culmination of a year-long campaign filled with notable achievements at the state, regional, and national levels.

The team’s journey began last fall with a dominant 5-0 performance to win the Colorado State Presidents Cup. That championship earned them a place at the Far West Regional Championships, held in June 2025 in Boise, Idaho. At Regionals, the team advanced to the knockout rounds and secured one of only eight coveted spots at the National Presidents Cup.

Over the course of the 2024–2025 season, the 2012 Girls Red team played 48 competitive matches. In addition to their national semifinal finish, they earned multiple titles and accolades throughout the year, including CSA Fall League Champions, Rapids Classic Finalists, Vail Valley Cup Champions, and Real Cup Showcase Champions. These aren’t just trophies—they represent the consistency, focus, and drive this group brings week after week.

The team’s consistent success over the past year is not accident but rather a direct result of disciplined training, strong teamwork, and a commitment to putting the team above individual goals while enjoying every step of the journey. Their standout year solidified their status as one of the top teams in their age group, not just in Colorado but across the country.
