Real Colorado and the USL W-League
A New Step in the Real Colorado Pathway
Beginning in the 2026 season, Real Colorado will compete in USL League Two (men) and the USL W League (women), providing a high-level pre-professional platform for players looking to extend their development beyond the youth game.
With nearly four decades of excellence in player development, Real Colorado has consistently helped players progress to top collegiate programs, national teams, and professional environments. The addition of USL League Two and W League represents a natural next step in that pathway—designed to support our alumni and other qualified players in a competitive, development-focused environment.
Who This Is For
Real Colorado USL W-League team is intended for:
Current and former Real Colorado players
College players seeking a high-level summer environment
Local and regional players who align with the club’s culture, competitive standards, and developmental philosophy
Selection will be competitive and based on:
Player ability and positional needs
Commitment to the team environment
Alignment with Real Colorado values of hard work, creativity, and excellence
Inaugural Season Parameters (2026)
For our inaugural season, Real Colorado will operate with a local-based roster model.
At this time:
Players must be able to secure their own housing, transportation, and employment (if needed)
The club will not provide housing, host families, or job placement assistance for the 2026 season
This approach allows us to focus on competitive standards, player development, and long-term sustainability as we establish our USL platforms
