Chairman of the Board

Ron graduated Phi Beta Kappa magna cum laude from the University of Denver in 1978 with a B.A. in American history, summa cum laude from National University in 1985 with a masters degree in Human and Organizational Behavior, and Harvard Law School, cum laude, in 1988. While at Harvard Law School, he served as the Senior Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy.

He was commissioned in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1979 where, among other positions, he served as a tank platoon commander, company commander at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, and judge advocate. He is a retired Colonel in the United States Marine Corps Reserve.

Ron served as Special Counsel to classified programs in the Office of the Secretary of Defense under the Honorable Dick Chaney from 1988 through 1990. In September 1990, he was selected to serve as Assistant Counsel to President George H. W. Bush, White House Counsel Office, and Special Counsel to General Brent Scowcroft, National Security Advisor.

Following his service at the White House, Ron served as counsel for Duncan, Ostrander & Dingess, Denver, Colorado; Ward and Smith, P.A., New Bern, North Carolina; Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for the W.T. Humphrey Construction Group; senior partner for vonLembke-Faleris, P.C., and county attorney for Onslow County, North Carolina.

Ron currently serves as Chairman of the Executive Board of the Adams County Economic Development Commission. He has served as a Director for the Marine Federal Credit Union, Chairman of the United Way of Onslow County, Vice President of the Onslow Caring Communities Foundation, and the Jacksonville Military Affairs Committee. He is a former Eagle Scout and a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow.

Mr. von Lembke joined United Water and the Bromley Companies as Chief of Staff in January 2010. He is responsible for planning, organizational, and operational matters.

Mr. von Lembke has two sons, Jason and Sean, and one daughter, Danielle who was a goalie on Real’s 01 ECNL team and is currently at the Colorado School of Mines.
